Delta Energy Park Clean Energy

The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) is soliciting proposals for a clean energy project at Delta Energy Park. The project aims to provide up to 30 MW of firm capacity and help the BWL achieve its goal of being 50% renewable by 2030. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified bidders for proven and commercially viable electric supply resources that can provide renewable or clean energy. The proposals will be evaluated based on several criteria, including economic value, project risk, and environmental considerations. • The project must be developed, designed, constructed, installed, and commissioned for service by June 1, 2029. • The project must provide a nameplate capacity between 10 MW and 30 MW. • The project must be connected to the BWL transmission system at 34.5kV. • The project must submit an Interconnection Application with Data to BWL to become eligible to bid into this RFP. • The proposal packages should be submitted through BWL’s Bidding System by the submission deadline.
