SMOKEY CIRCLE RTU HVAC REPLACEMENT

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in New Mexico is seeking a qualified small‑business contractor to replace an existing rooftop air‑conditioning unit (RTU) at the Smokey Circle facility in Grants, NM. The work includes demolition and proper disposal of the existing RTU (including refrigerant), hazardous‑material handling, installation of a new 5‑ton gas/electric RTU (R‑454B refrigerant), roof‑curb modifications, electrical and gas service verification, weather‑proofing, and full testing & balancing. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, small‑business set‑aside (women‑owned, service‑disabled veteran‑owned, HUBZone) with a period of performance from 09/25/2026 to 01/25/2027 (≈4 months). Offerors must be SAM‑registered, submit a complete quote via email by 09/21/2026, and provide past‑performance references for HVAC work. • Replace and dispose of existing RTU, including refrigerant recovery (R‑454B). • Provide and install a new UL‑listed 5‑ton RTU (Trane, Carrier, Lennox or equivalent). • Perform roof‑curb, electrical, and gas service coordination. • Conduct hazardous‑material removal per 40 CFR 82 and state regulations. • Provide weekly progress meetings and a detailed project schedule. • Deliver a quality‑control plan and a qualified QC manager on‑site. • Small‑business set‑aside (WOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone).
