The Chatham County‑Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC), on behalf of the Coastal Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (CORE MPO), is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide on‑call professional consulting services for a suite of transportation‑planning tasks within the CORE MPO Metropolitan Planning Area. The solicitation is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) that will result in on‑call contracts awarded in December 2026, with an initial term ending June 30 2027 and up to two one‑year renewal options. Selected consultants will augment staff on tasks such as non‑motorized transportation plan updates, throughfare plan updates, transit planning, grant preparation, special studies (e.g., bicycle/pedestrian facilities, urban flood modeling), GIS data collection and analysis, and coordination with federal, state, and local partners.
