Government Publishing Office (GPO) Building Information Model (BIM)

The Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a contractor to create a 3D Building Information Model (BIM) of its headquarters in Washington, D.C. The model should include architectural, structural, and major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The contractor will be responsible for conducting a site assessment, developing a BIM Execution Plan, scanning and collecting data, and creating a comprehensive BIM model. The model should be developed using Autodesk Revit and should meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). • The contractor should have experience with similar BIM production and maintenance projects. • The contractor should have technical BIM expertise and certifications. • The contractor should outline a step-by-step approach to BIM production, coordination with stakeholders, and data handover processes. • The contractor should include an analysis of potential risks and detailed mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. • The contractor should specify how they will ensure BIM software compatibility with existing government platforms and future integration needs.
