Professional Engineering Services for the Advanced Purified Water Facility (APWF)

The City of Reno is seeking a qualified professional‑engineering consulting firm to serve as the owner’s representative for the design‑build construction of the Advanced Purified Water Facility (APWF) and associated upgrades at the Reno‑Stead Water Reclamation Facility. The consultant will be on‑site full‑time, overseeing construction, reviewing submittals, managing change orders, coordinating with the CMAR contractor and Truckee Meadows Water Authority, and providing commissioning support. This role spans the 30‑month construction period plus an additional six‑month commissioning phase. • Provide daily on‑site representation, progress reporting, and schedule coordination for a $224 M water‑infrastructure project. • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and ensure the City’s interests are reflected in construction decisions, especially for RSWRF unit processes, transfer pump station, and transmission mains. • Support startup and commissioning activities, documenting set‑points and assisting City operations staff. • Must be a Nevada‑licensed professional engineering firm with required insurance and bonding; must submit a complete electronic RFQ package by the deadline.
