Life and Disability Insurance

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to enter into a contract with a qualified offeror to provide the following insurance coverages to eligible employees and their eligible dependents on a fully-insured basis: Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance, Basic Group Term Employee and Dependent Life Insurance, Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, Supplemental/Voluntary Term Life Insurance for Employees and Dependents, and Voluntary AD&D Insurance. The University is examining several alternatives for providing these services and may decide, after reviewing proposals submitted, not to enter into any of the proposed agreements. • The RFP includes requirements for LTD and life insurance plans, including plan design, implementation, and management. • The RFP also includes requirements for reporting capabilities, claim payment services, and customer support. • The University will evaluate proposals based on technical and cost factors, including the offeror's experience, past performance, and references.
