Annual Aerodrome GSE Vehicle Permit Safety Inspection

Massport is seeking qualified firms to perform the annual safety inspection of ground‑service‑equipment (GSE) vehicles used at Boston Logan International Airport. Inspectors must be certified mobile inspectors, obtain Massport SIDA security badges, and follow a detailed inspection checklist for each vehicle. The contract will be awarded on a three‑year base term with two optional one‑year extensions, and includes both scheduled annual inspections (August‑October) and on‑call inspections throughout the year. The contractor will submit invoices per vehicle inspected, with all costs (permits, travel, fuel, etc.) included in the unit price. • Inspect ~1,600–1,800 GSE vehicles each year (baggage tugs, push‑back tugs, de‑icing trucks, etc.). • Perform both annual inspections (August – Oct 31) and on‑call inspections (48‑hour response requirement). • Provide certified inspectors with Massport SIDA badges and adhere to strict safety, security, and reporting protocols.
