Maintenance, Transportation, and Security General Services

The Sherman Independent School District is seeking proposals for Maintenance and Transportation General Services. The contract will be awarded to multiple vendors to provide a broad base of products to meet the needs of the District. Proposals should include all labor, materials, superintendence, tools, and equipment necessary for completion of assigned work. The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any bid. Some key areas of focus for this contract include: HVAC supplies/equipment, general maintenance/supplies, electrical supplies/equipment, plumbing supplies/equipment, grounds supplies/equipment, custodial supplies/equipment, locks and keys equipment/supplies, equipment rental/supplies, security supplies/equipment, transportation supplies/equipment, food service supplies/equipment, vehicles (off-road and trailers), flooring supplies/equipment, and painting supplies/equipment. • The District is looking for vendors who can provide high-quality products and services at competitive prices. • Vendors should have experience working with school districts or similar organizations. • The contract will be for a period of approximately 5 years, with the option to renew for an additional 5 years. • The District expects to award contracts to multiple vendors, and the selection process will be based on factors such as price, quality of products and services, and vendor experience. • Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and District policies. • The District reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause.
