Z--Webster Dam Spillway Radial Gates Repair

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a contractor to refurbish the hoist systems for three radial spillway gates at Webster Dam (Kansas). The work includes removal, replacement, and re‑installation of wire ropes, sockets, fasteners, and both rigid and flexible grease‑line systems, as well as field testing and quality documentation. All materials must meet specified ASTM and Federal specifications, and the contractor must provide detailed submittals, shop drawings, and a lump‑sum price. • Scope: Replace wire ropes (minimum 41.8‑ton breaking strength), sockets, cap screws, lock washers, and grease‑line components. • Deliver equipment in labeled containers, protect from moisture/dust. • Perform on‑site hoist testing, torque, and tension verification. • Provide certified test reports, shop drawings, and final data packages. • Compliance with AISC, ASTM, and federal coating standards. • Work to be performed under the direction of the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
