Addendum #3: Rawson Pond Dam Spillway Replacement

The Town of Cumberland is seeking qualified contractors to replace the spillway structure at the Rawson Pond Dam and perform related masonry, sheet‑steel, and hardware work. The scope includes demolition and removal of the existing spillway, masonry chinking/repointing on the specified wall, installation of weir boards (height to be confirmed), fabrication and installation of scissor clamps and a stoplog lifter, and placement of temporary sheet‑steel for a temporary dam, all while complying with RIDOT bridge load‑rating requirements. • Replace the spillway structure and install temporary dam sheet steel. • Perform masonry chinking/repointing on the designated wall only. • Fabricate and install scissor clamps (Absco SC150AL model) and a custom stoplog lifter device. • Install weir boards (dimensions to be finalized prior to fabrication). • Verify equipment loads against existing bridge load‑rating data.
