Camp Long Lodge Renovation Design Services

The City of Seattle is seeking a dynamic architecture team to lead the design work necessary to restore the Camp Long Lodge, a treasured community asset. The project includes design services for the renovation of the lodge, which was extensively damaged by fire. The selected consultant will be tasked with evaluating the pre-design work, identifying creative alternatives, and facilitating additional internal and stakeholder feedback to confirm the approach to the project. The scope of work includes preserving historic elements, adding safety measures, and modernizing systems. The project is expected to last for 24 months. Key qualifications include experience in building architectural, structural, and MEP design, and construction administration, as well as experience working with the City of Seattle and other public agencies. Some key points to consider: • The project requires a minimum of five years of continuous experience in building architectural, structural, and MEP design, and construction administration. • The consultant team must have successfully performed a minimum of three architectural design and construction administration contracts with similar services to those proposed under this RFQ. • The consultant team must include an architect, structural engineer, and MEP engineer licensed by the State of Washington. • The consultant must have a local office within 50 miles of the greater Seattle area. • The project has an estimated construction contract amount of $5.4 million.
