Campus Fitness Center Management and Wellness Services

The Virginia Community College Shared Services Center, on behalf of Southwest Virginia Community College and other VCCS entities, seeks a qualified contractor to operate and manage campus fitness centers, weight rooms, and wellness programs. The contractor will provide staffing, programming, equipment oversight, member services, and wellness initiatives to foster health, engagement, and student success in a safe, inclusive environment. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to nine one‑year renewal options, subject to performance. A mandatory site‑visit on November 6 2026 allows offerors to review facilities and equipment. • Manage day‑to‑day operations of fitness centers across multiple VCCS campuses. • Develop and deliver wellness programming, fitness classes, and health promotion activities. • Oversee equipment maintenance, member services, and compliance with safety/ADA standards. • Provide professional staffing and administrative support for the facilities. • Opportunity to extend the contract for up to a total of ten years based on performance.
