Description
The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is seeking a project manager to provide complete project management services for a three-piece strategic process for an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system replacement. The project manager will be responsible for gathering data about CBJ business processes and requirements, developing a precise set of requirements and technical specifications for a City-issued RFP solicitation for both EDMS and ERP systems, and providing project management services throughout the business process/requirements gathering, solicitation, implementation, integration, data migration, testing, report development, training services, go-live, and post-go-live with support of CBJ Staff. The project is expected to be completed prior to October 2030.
• The project manager will work with CBJ staff to provide a project schedule that minimizes disruption to the affected CBJ Departments and divisions, and to ensure uninterrupted delivery of public services.
• The project manager will be responsible for all communications between CBJ and Contractors and work to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and with minimal change orders and customizations.
• The project manager will advocate for the CBJ’s needs and positions through the term of the implementation and post-go-live.
• The project manager will provide daily operational assignments of the project, including business requirements gathering and analysis, RFP development, establishing and managing project workflow, schedules, and tracking deliverables.
• The project manager will facilitate collaboration between subject matter experts across several departments and perform assessments and testing.
• The project manager will provide comprehensive liaison services between CBJ and the selected Contractor(s), acting in the best interest of CBJ.
