AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROPERTY MGMT (AMADOR CROSSING APTS)

The City of Las Cruces is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in entering into an agreement for property management services for the Amador Crossing Apartments. The selected firm will work closely with the Mesilla Valley Community of Hope (MVCH) and the City of Las Cruces to develop policies and procedures, tenant selection plans, and other operational documents that reflect a housing first and harm reduction model. The scope of services includes management plan development, marketing, leasing, maintenance, staffing, and reporting. The contract term will be for a five-year period. Key responsibilities include: • Developing a management plan in collaboration with the City and MVCH • Providing marketing and leasing services • Maintaining the property and providing 24-hour emergency maintenance • Hiring and supervising staff • Preparing and submitting reports, including a quarterly balance sheet and monthly budget comparison report • Coordinating with the City and MVCH to ensure successful property management The City is looking for a firm with experience in managing special needs and previously unhoused residents, and a strong partnership with MVCH and the City is essential for success.
