RFQ - VHS Major Renovation

The City of Valdez is seeking a consultant to provide architectural and engineering services for the renovation of Valdez High School. The project involves modernizing the existing 91,000-square-foot facility to improve functionality and support the school's academic programs. The scope of work includes developing programming documents, conducting community outreach, and providing construction administration services. The selected consultant will work closely with the Valdez School District and the City's insurance carrier. Key tasks include: • Engagement with City and School District employees to develop programming documents • Community outreach and presentations to the School Board and committees • Development of construction documents and cost estimation • CA services through construction, including closeout The City encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned firms to respond.
