Project Ambler Access Project (AAP) Drilling Field Work

The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) is seeking a qualified firm to perform geotechnical drilling, coring, permafrost instrumentation, and related data‑collection services for the Ambler Access Project. The work is investigative only and will be carried out at multiple remote river‑crossing and landing‑zone sites in the Arctic interior of Alaska, requiring helicopter‑supported access, winter‑time drilling under snow cover, and summer site‑preparation activities. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price, split into six phases (winter drilling, landing‑zone clearing, small/medium bridge boreholes, material‑borrow sites, cut‑slope drilling, optional lab analysis) with a total estimated value of $20‑$40 million. Deliverables include daily borehole logs, weekly status reports, a full digital data package, and various management plans (risk, health & safety, project controls).
