Life and Disability Insurance for the Public Employees' Benefits Program (PEBP)

The State of Nevada Purchasing Division on behalf of the Public Employees' Benefits Program (PEBP) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Basic Life Insurance for Active and Retiree members. Additionally, PEBP is seeking proposals for a possible reinstatement of Long Term Disability (LTD) insurance for Active members. The contract is expected to be for an initial term of four years, with an option to extend for two additional years, and is subject to PEBP Board approval and Nevada State Board of Examiners approval. Key aspects of the proposal include: • Providing administrative support and accuracy in claims processing • Accommodating potential reinstatement of LTD coverage • Meeting the requirements outlined in the RFP Workbook and attachments • Complying with Nevada's ethical standards requirements and applicable regulations • Participating in vendor presentations (if required) • Providing a complete disclosure of any alleged significant prior or ongoing contract failures, contract breaches, or civil/criminal litigation/investigations.
