ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION ADMIN SERVICES FOR REUSE OF GUITERAS SCHOOL

The Town of Bristol is seeking architectural design and construction administration services to help re-purpose the former Guiteras School into a Government Center/Town Hall. The scope of services includes design services, close coordination with the Town Administrator and all Town Departments, permit assistance, preparing bid documents and plans, and construction phase services. The Town has a limited budget for this work and an important component of the project will be to evaluate those improvements necessary for the re-use as a government center/town hall and those improvements that could be done in later phases. • The project involves re-purposing a decommissioned school building into a government center/town hall. • The scope of services includes design services, construction administration, and close coordination with the Town Administrator and all Town Departments. • The Town has a limited budget for this work and an important component of the project will be to evaluate those improvements necessary for the re-use as a government center/town hall and those improvements that could be done in later phases. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a certificate of insurance naming the Town of Bristol as an additional insured. • The contract may be extended for an additional 1 year.
