Foster Support

The Colorado Department of Human Services is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive support services to certified foster parents, kinship foster parents, and non-certified kinship caregivers. The services include mental health resources, caregiver support and education, and hard goods. The vendor will deliver these services statewide, with an initial contract term of 9 months and the possibility of renewal for up to four additional years. • The vendor must provide mental health resources, including therapy, crisis management, and mentoring, delivered by licensed professionals. • The vendor must provide caregiver support and education, including parenting support, trauma-informed education, and legal navigation assistance. • The vendor must provide hard goods, including essential tangible items to assist families with placement stabilization. • The vendor must submit monthly reports detailing the number of unique individuals served, services provided, and associated costs.
