Budget estimate

$150,000 – $200,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the quantity of hay required and the average market price of hay. Assuming an average price of $200 per ton for brome and/or prairie hay and $250 per ton for alfalfa hay, the total budget for the four-month contract period would be approximately $120,000 for brome and/or prairie hay and $50,000 for alfalfa hay, totaling $170,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on various factors, including the contractor's pricing and the state's negotiation.
