Shelf Rock Crushing

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to process approximately 40,000 cubic yards of excavated shelf rock collected during the ongoing cell construction at the St. Joseph Sanitary Landfill. The project involves either on-site crushing or off-site removal of the shelf rock. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, machinery, and supervision to perform the required work, including mobilization, crushing and processing, hauling and transport, stockpiling, dust control, and site cleanup. The project must be completed within 90 days of contract award. • The contractor must provide high-capacity, portable rock-crushing and screening plants engineered to process hard shelf rock. • The contractor must supply all necessary loading equipment and high-capacity hauling trucks for off-site removal proposals. • The contractor must obtain and maintain all required operational permits, including air quality and equipment relocation permits. • The contractor must ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory standards throughout the project duration.
