The University of Mississippi for Women seeks a qualified contractor to fully replace two existing rooftop HVAC units (RTU‑1 and RTU‑2) at Whitfield Hall with new Trane 25‑ton electric/electric packaged units. The scope covers complete demolition, removal, crane and rigging services, installation of new units, associated curb and structural modifications, ductwork adjustments, electrical upgrades, controls integration with the building automation system, refrigerant handling (R‑454B), testing, commissioning, and full documentation and training for the owner. The contractor must conduct mandatory pre‑construction field verification, obtain all permits, provide a detailed lift plan, and ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, and life‑safety interlocks.
