Description:
The Alabama A&M University is seeking a contractor to design, install, and operate a turnkey photovoltaic solar power system integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS) on its campus. The system should provide 100% of the university's energy needs and ensure uninterrupted power during outages or adverse weather events. The contractor will own and operate the system during an initial Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) term of approximately 10 years, after which the university may choose to assume ownership.
