Courier Services

The State of Arkansas is seeking a contractor to provide courier services for the Arkansas Department of Health. The contractor will be responsible for transporting supplies, laboratory samples, and other items between various locations in Arkansas. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to six additional years. The contractor must provide a sufficient number of drivers to cover each route assigned by the Department of Health and must be on time at all locations between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. The contractor must also provide same-day pickup and delivery of laboratory samples and must maintain a daily log of all pickups and deliveries. • The contractor must have adequate liability insurance to protect the Department of Health, its employees, and the general public. • The contractor must comply with all federal and state transportation requirements. • The contractor must store and transport laboratory samples in a controlled environment with a temperature range of 32°F to 77°F. • The contractor must provide emergency services as requested by the Department of Health. • The contractor must submit invoices via email and mail to the Department of Health. • The contractor must provide a daily log of all pickups and deliveries to the Department of Health.
