The Palm Beach County's Art in Public Places program (PBC AiPP) is seeking an artist or artist team to design, permit, fabricate, and install art at the North County Aquatic Center. The artwork should be inspired by lively recreational and competitive aquatic activities and promote enhanced physical and mental wellbeing, and community connection. The selected artist will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing art on prominent entrance columns and/or walls to create an engaging and welcoming atmosphere. • The art must be made of tiles (e.g. ceramic, porcelain, terracotta, stone, glass) and surface-mounted with flat even surfaces that do not protrude from the wall and do not require structural reinforcement to the walls. • The artist will receive a maximum fixed fee of $50,700 inclusive of all expenses. • The project schedule includes a mandatory pre-proposal virtual meeting, shortlist selection, finalist selection, and contract approval.
