BH2640-33R OPERATING AND MAINTAINING WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports is seeking a contractor to operate and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole. The scope of work includes the operation and maintenance of the plant, which consists of the pump station, triturator, South Ramp lift station, washrack, and management of the R1 reclaimed water and landscaping adjacent to the wastewater treatment plant and lift station. The contractor will be responsible for performing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance tasks, including inspecting and cleaning equipment, replacing parts, and disposing of waste. • The contractor must have experience in operating and maintaining wastewater treatment plants. • The contractor must have a valid license to operate in the State of Hawaii. • The contractor must comply with all federal and state rules and regulations. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and a performance bond. • The contractor must submit a proposal that includes a detailed scope of work, a schedule, and a budget.
