Architectural Engineer

The Salem Area Mass Transit District (SAMTD) is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to perform an in-depth transit center site selection, Title VI analysis, and preliminary design for a new East Salem Transit Center. The project will have three phases, including a planning phase, property acquisition, engineering and architectural design, and construction. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a site selection study, reviewing existing plans, and compiling existing transit patronage data. They will also conduct primary data collection to document the existing and future transit and active mobility market in East Salem. The firm will prepare a technical memorandum outlining the findings and make preliminary recommendations on how to best serve the current and future transit markets.
