Catering and Related Services

The United Independent School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide catering and related services. The district is looking to establish a pool of approved vendors to provide these services on an as-needed basis. Vendors will be evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, service description, and pricing. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option for the district to terminate the contract at any time. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to negotiate with vendors to ensure the most cost-effective and suitable solution. • The district is seeking vendors who can provide a variety of catering services, including but not limited to restaurants, cottage establishments, coffee shops, and food trucks. • Vendors must submit proposals that include company information, references, product and service description, pricing, and proof of insurance. • Vendors will be required to undergo a background check and/or fingerprinting process at their own expense if they have direct contact with students or continuing duties. • The district will enter into contracts with selected vendors on an as-needed basis through the issuance of a purchase order. • Insurance requirements will be specified in the contract based on the dollar amount of the contract, the type of service, and the location of service delivery.
