The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting bids for a one‑time demolition contract covering four parcels (8, 9, 27, 51) in Owensboro, Daviess County. The work includes complete removal of residential structures, garages, septic systems, driveways, pavement, and associated site improvements, followed by proper disposal, grading, seeding, rodent control, hazardous material handling, and compliance with all state and federal regulations. Bidders must be registered in the Kentucky e‑Procurement system, provide required bonds, insurance, certifications (DBE, non‑collusion, Buy‑America, etc.), and submit a detailed price break‑out for each parcel. No pre‑bid meeting is required; bidders are responsible for site inspection. The contract award will be based on lowest price (best‑value) and compliance with all specifications.
• Demolition of two‑story brick residence, detached garage, carport, asphalt & concrete pavement (Parcel 8)
• Demolition of one‑story wood residence, attached/ detached garages, porch, fence, pool, pavement (Parcel 9)
• Demolition of vinyl residence, metal garage, gravel, fencing, French drain (Parcel 27)
• Removal of a wood sign (Parcel 51)
• Required rodent control, hazardous waste disposal, refrigerant recovery, seeding & mulching of disturbed areas
• Performance bond ≥ $10,000 (or 100 % of contract value) and compliance with Kentucky 811 “Before You Dig”
