Real Estate Appraisal of Lower Grey Cloud Island - Gravel Pit in Washington County, MN

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District is seeking a State of Minnesota certified General Appraiser to perform a real estate appraisal and prepare a report for the proposed acquisition of specified real property rights. The property in question is approximately 331.33 acres adjacent to the Mississippi River, known as Lower Grey Cloud Island, and is a largely depleted gravel mining pit. The Government intends to use this site for placement of dredged material. • The appraiser must be certified in the State of Minnesota. • The appraiser must have experience writing UASFLA-compliant appraisal reports. • The appraiser must have experience with property appraisals involving sand, gravel, and aggregate mining. • The contract will be awarded based on Best Value to the Government, with technical factors and past performance being more important than price.
