Request for Qualifications for Forensic Audit Services

The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge is seeking a certified public accounting firm to provide comprehensive forensic audit services. The selected firm will conduct a thorough examination of the Organization's financial records and internal controls for the period January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2025. The scope of work includes examination of financial statements, review of the Finance Department's policies and procedures, analysis of revenue and expenditures, and identification of any irregularities or evidence of fraud. The firm will provide a preliminary assessment memorandum, interim status reports, a draft forensic audit report, and a final forensic audit report. • The firm must have at least five years of experience conducting forensic audits of governmental entities. • The firm must have at least one Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) on the engagement team. • The firm must demonstrate no actual or perceived conflict of interest with the Organization or its employees, vendors, or contractors. • The firm must provide a detailed fee schedule and estimated total fees and expenses for the engagement. • The firm must maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents throughout the engagement.
