Description
The City of Fayetteville is seeking a qualified contractor to perform demolition, asbestos abatement, and lot‑cleaning services at five residential properties (230 Grady St, 504 Longview Dr, 509 School St, 521 Ramsey St, and 5536 Deep Hollow Ct). The scope includes complete removal of structures and debris, identification and safe removal of asbestos‑containing materials, grading, seeding, and mulch restoration, as well as compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations. Work must be completed within 60 calendar days after the notice to proceed, and the contractor must provide all necessary permits, licenses, bonds, insurance, and documentation. No subcontracting is allowed without prior City consent, except for licensed asbestos‑abatement services.
• Demolition of primary and accessory structures, removal of personal property and debris, and grading/seed‑and‑mulch of disturbed areas.
• Asbestos survey results dictate that three of the five sites require licensed asbestos abatement; the contractor must handle hazardous‑material permits and disposal.
• All prices must include NC sales and use taxes; payment is net‑30 after final inspection and receipt of disposal receipts and clearance certificates.
• Contractor must hold a NC General Contractor License (if bid ≥ $40 k) and an NC Asbestos Contractor License, maintain specified insurance limits, and use E‑Verify for all personnel.
