The City of Alexandria is seeking two state‑licensed asbestos abatement contractors to perform wet demolition, removal, abatement, disposal, and related site services for residential and commercial properties slated for demolition. Work will be assigned on a rotating “work‑order” list, with unit‑priced tasks covering a wide range of ACM and RACM materials, equipment mobilization, per‑diem, and emergency fees. Contractors must submit AAC‑2 notification forms, obtain LDEQ disposal verification, maintain a minimum three‑person crew, and comply with strict wet‑work, air‑monitoring, and waste‑ticket documentation requirements. The contract is a one‑year professional service agreement (2027) with optional two‑year renewals, and the City will pay 100 % of invoiced amounts within 30 days of receipt of complete documentation.
