Nonpublic School Security Guards - Unarmed

The Passaic Board of Education is seeking a contractor to provide unarmed security guard services for one of its nonpublic schools with three locations. The contractor will be responsible for providing trained and professional security staff to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. The contract will be for the 2026-2027 school year, and the contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements. Some key requirements include: providing security staff with S.O.R.A. certification, maintaining liability insurance, and ensuring that all security staff are well-groomed and wear clean uniforms. The contractor must also provide a comprehensive training program for all security staff and ensure that all staff are able to read, write, and speak English. • The contractor must provide security services for approximately 40 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours or shifts as needed. • The contractor must ensure that all security staff are trained in areas such as homeland security, communications, ethics, and first aid/CPR/AED. • The contractor must maintain accurate records and submit invoices to the Passaic Board of Education's Business Office on a weekly basis. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, including those related to employment, labor, and workers' compensation.
