Disposition of Ironwood Golf Course

The City of Gainesville is seeking proposals for a sustainable long-term path forward regarding Ironwood Golf Course. The selected proposer will be responsible for preserving the golf course, maintaining meaningful public and community benefits, establishing a sustainable operating model, and reducing or eliminating the City's ongoing operational subsidy and financial exposure. • The golf course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course with various amenities, including a driving range, golf shop, and clubhouse facilities. • The course has historically operated as a public-access municipal golf course, generating revenue from greens fees, cart rentals, and other golf-related activities. • The City is looking for a proposer who can build upon the course's established customer base, address its long-term operating and capital needs, and provide a financially sustainable solution.
