B506-- Facility Scanning and Modeling

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform facility scanning and modeling services. The contractor will be required to scan and model the interior and exterior of buildings on the campus, including areas above ceilings and in patient-care spaces. The contractor will need to provide a complete, facility-wide model, including a common reference frame that is accurately shared between interior spaces. The contractor will also be required to capture COBie data, including manufacturer, model number, serial number, and location information. The project is expected to be completed within 180 days from the notice to proceed. Some key points to consider: • The contractor will need to remove and replace ceiling tiles in some areas, and will be required to follow ICRA procedures. • The contractor will need to coordinate with occupants and patients to scan patient-care areas. • The contractor will be required to provide a project schedule and meet LOD 200 requirements for model submissions. • The contractor will need to ensure that all deliverables are easily viewable with minimal software required. • The contractor will be required to capture COBie data and provide it in a format that can be easily viewed and understood by the Executive Leadership Team.
