The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to solicit statements of interest, capabilities, and rough orders of magnitude (cost estimates) from businesses interested in and capable of providing commercial technical support for the installation of a GTR8000 radio, duplexer, and router within an existing equipment shelter at three sites along the United States southern border in Texas. The project will provide labor, miscellaneous materials, and travel required to install the radio equipment at the three locations. The contractor must perform provisioning of any non-furnished government equipment materials required for installation, as well as site installations, testing, and project finalization and closeout package. Key features of the project include: • Installation of a GTR8000 repeater, duplexer, and router at three locations in southern Texas • Provisioning of non-furnished government equipment materials required for installation • Site installations, testing, and project finalization and closeout package • Compliance with various standards and regulations, including IEEE and ANSI standards • Requirement for a dedicated Project Manager and a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative
