Prime Architect for a Mechanical System Replacement Design

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking an experienced and qualified Prime Architect to provide Architectural Design Services for the mechanical system replacement in building CLB3. The scope of work includes code analysis, fire protection, and services from Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Engineers, and Structural Engineers. The project involves replacing air handling units, designing a new Building Automation System, and upgrading the existing fume hood system. The Prime Architect will be responsible for providing complete design services, including engaging required consultants and providing cost estimates. The construction budget for the project is estimated to be approximately $2,552,000. • The Prime Architect will provide design services for the mechanical system replacement in building CLB3, which contains a wide range of labs, including chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, and public health. • The scope of work includes replacing air handling units, designing a new Building Automation System, and upgrading the existing fume hood system. • The Prime Architect will be responsible for providing complete design services, including engaging required consultants and providing cost estimates. • The construction budget for the project is estimated to be approximately $2,552,000. • The Prime Architect will be required to meet weekly with UNLV Planning & Construction and the Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) team to demonstrate progress. • The Prime Architect will be responsible for coordinating the design drawings between the Prime Architect and consultants for the renovation. • The Prime Architect will be required to provide CAD dwg files of final design drawings for the Prime Architect and consultants' drawings.
