Insurance Broker Services

The County of Greenville is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Insurance Brokerage Services for its Workers Compensation, Liability, Property and Casualty Insurance Services for Commercial Insurance Products. The successful Broker shall provide Insurance Brokerage, Insurance Administration, Loss Control and other related Miscellaneous Services to Greenville County. The Broker would become the "Broker/Agent-of-Record" to secure Greenville County's Workers Compensation, Liability, Property and Casualty Insurance. The key responsibilities of the Broker include evaluating the existing property and casualty insurance program, marketing the Greenville County Workers Compensation, Property and Casualty Insurance Program, reviewing individual policies for accuracy and completeness, advising, reporting, handling all claims and monitoring the claims, and performing an Annual Evaluation and Semi-Annual Loss Review Meetings. • The Broker must be licensed to sell insurance in the State of South Carolina and have the ability to perform the required tasks. • The Broker must develop a comprehensive understanding of the County's areas of exposure and develop written documentation for improvements to the risk mitigation efforts of the County. • The Broker must evaluate existing insurance contracts and claims history and make written recommendations concerning any changes, modifications, consolidations or additions to existing coverage necessary to protect the interests of the County. • The Broker must identify additional programs, products and insurers capable of meeting the County's insurance needs and prepare bid specifications capable of properly quoting insurance renewals.
