CONTRACT NO. 2 - WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS (RIVERBEND SUBDIVISION) WATER SECTOR PROGRAM, PHASE 2

The Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 of Pointe Coupee Parish is soliciting sealed bids for comprehensive water distribution upgrades in the Riverbend Subdivision, Phase 2 of its Water Sector Program. The scope includes installation of new water mains, valves, fire hydrants, service line reconnections, abandonment of existing lines, and related appurtenances, with an estimated project cost of $1.1 million. • Install new water mains, valves, fittings, and fire hydrants. • Provide water meters, service line reconnections, and abandon obsolete water mains/service lines. • Deliver all required bid and performance bonds, with a mandatory 5 % bid security deposit. • Bids must be sealed and submitted by 2 PM on September 9, 2026; electronic bids are also accepted. • The contractor must be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150‑2164 and furnish a bond meeting U.S. Treasury Circular 570 requirements.
