Miscellaneous Architectural Services (PWE 505)

The City of Boise Public Works Department is soliciting proposals from firms to provide Miscellaneous Architectural Services. The services will include design services for renovation/remodeling work, minor new construction, architectural studies, and similar work on City-owned facilities throughout the Boise area. The City seeks to enter into Miscellaneous Services contracts with a number of architectural firms, which will be available to be hired under the awarded contract on a negotiated Task Order basis to work on specific projects in the future. The contracts will be executed this Spring, upon expiration of the current miscellaneous architectural services contracts. • The City will contract with a minimum of three consultants selected from this RFQ for one year, with the possibility of four one-year extensions. • The Design Professional fee information will not be used for determining which firms are selected. • Proposals are to be limited to eight pages, front and back, including the signed cover letter, and in the format specified. • The evaluation factors will include firm qualifications, staff qualifications, specific relevant project experience, and references. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to take whatever action is in the best interest of the City.
