The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to collect, transport, and properly dispose of waste tires of various sizes generated at its municipal solid‑waste landfill. Work will be performed on a monthly schedule or as directed, during normal landfill operating hours, and must comply with Kansas and EPA regulations. The contractor will be paid on a per‑tire basis for five size categories and must maintain required insurance, bonding, and record‑keeping. The contract runs for two years beginning May 1 2026. • Remove and load passenger‑car, light‑truck, truck/equipment, and heavy‑equipment tires (five size ranges). • Transport tires to an approved disposal facility and document each load per the invoicing requirements. • Provide all labor, equipment, permits, and insurance; retain records for three years; adhere to a 30‑day invoice payment term.
