Aquatics Program And Instruction Services For Senior Adults (Three (3) Year Multiyear Contract)

The County of DeKalb, GA is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive aquatics services for senior adults at the Lou Walker Senior Center. The services include aquatic programming design and delivery, certified staffing, safety inspections and compliance, facility organization, participant assessments and recordkeeping, attendance tracking, reporting, and administrative coordination with Senior Center staff. The contractor will be responsible for designing and implementing structured aquatic exercise classes tailored to older adults, maintaining appropriate safety standards, and ensuring high-quality participant engagement. The program is expected to operate five days a week during established daytime hours. • The contractor will provide certified aquatic fitness instructors and lifeguards. • The contractor will develop and maintain a structured schedule of aquatic exercise classes. • The contractor will coordinate class programming to ensure incorporation of warm-up, cool-down, flexibility training, and safety education components. • The contractor will monitor and maintain appropriate instructor-to-participant ratios. • The contractor will track program attendance and participant satisfaction using sign-in sheets and/or digital tracking systems.
