Request for Qualifications for Architecture Services

The City of Hernando is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide architecture services for the implementation of approved FY 2026 CDBG project(s). The selected architect will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and contract execution, and performing construction inspection. The city encourages minority-owned business enterprises, woman-owned business enterprises, and Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and contract execution, and performing construction inspection. • The city has the authority to terminate the selection at any time. • The contract will be on a fixed price basis and will include the scope and extent of work through project closeout. • The city reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
