Janitorial Svc Boone Co Real ID

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for janitorial services for the Department of Vehicle Regulation Real ID Office in Burlington, Kentucky. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide janitorial services five nights per week, Monday through Friday, outside of normal business hours. The services will include daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning tasks, as well as semi-annual and annual deep cleaning. The bidder will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies, and to ensure that all employees are at least 18 years old and have undergone a background check. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include: * Daily: sweep non-carpeted floors, clean and sanitize drinking fountains and breakroom sinks, wet mop restroom and breakroom floors, clean entrance/exit glass, doors and partitions, shake mats and vacuum all carpeted areas. * Weekly: dust horizontal surfaces, vents, moldings, pipes, fire extinguishers and ceiling corners, clean baseboards. * Monthly: clean restroom waste baskets, spray buff office floors, clean door kicks, handles, frames and push plates. * Quarterly: remove insects from light fixtures, vacuum upholstered furniture, deep clean tile. * Semi-Annual: clean carpets using extraction method, damp clean ceiling vents. * Annual: wash blinds, wash interior and exterior windows, wash light fixtures, wash and sanitize walls and partitions. The bidder will be evaluated based on price (95 points) and experience (5 points).
