Northrup Auditorium Lighting Upgrade

The University of Minnesota is seeking a design services provider to upgrade the house lighting systems at Northrop Auditorium, a historic performance venue. The selected respondent will provide professional design services, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents. The project requires the evaluation of existing house lighting systems, development of replacement and/or upgrade solutions, and production of complete design and construction documentation. The design team must consider energy efficiency, system longevity, and operational reliability, as well as respect the architectural and aesthetic considerations of the historic venue. The project scope includes the front-of-house areas, main auditorium, and Best Buy Theater house lighting.
