Cistern Cleaning Services

The Department of Commerce is conducting market research to determine if there are capable businesses that can perform cistern cleaning services. The primary objective of this contract is to acquire the services of a qualified contractor to inspect, clean, sanitize, and replace potable water cisterns at designated buildings. The work includes tasks such as cistern inspection and assessment, cistern cleaning and sanitization, and cistern replacement. The contractor must demonstrate experience in potable water system maintenance and installation and be licensed and insured to perform this type of work within the state of Colorado. • The contract will be for a period of 360 days. • The contractor must comply with applicable standards and regulations, including Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment regulations and American Water Works Association standards. • The contractor must provide deliverables such as a cistern assessment report, replacement proposal, service completion report, certificate of sanitization, and water quality test results. • The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with industry best practices and applicable state and federal standards for potable water systems.
