The Alaska DNR has received a Miscellaneous Land Use Permit Modification from Explor Geoscience USA to extend two 2‑D seismic lines near the Stump Lake/Beluga River area, adding roughly 9.7 miles to the existing 20‑mile survey. The modification keeps the original scope—geophysical data acquisition using lightweight Sercel ACCEL nodes and mini‑hole dynamite sources—while expanding line 1A by 6.1 miles and line 1C by 3.6 miles. Work is slated to begin 1 Nov 2026, with mobilization, source deployment, data acquisition, and demobilization completing by early February 2027.
