RECS RFP DEFERRED MAINTENANCE PROJECTS RUSH CITY

The Department of Corrections is seeking a consultant to provide architectural, structural, and electrical engineering services, as well as project management design services, for the upgrade of the detention system at the MCF-Rush City facility in Rush City, Minnesota. The project includes the design of deferred maintenance projects. The consultant will be responsible for providing a fee proposal, which includes a detailed breakdown of the costs for each phase of the project. The project is expected to be completed in multiple fiscal years, with the current fiscal year ending on June 30, 2026. • The consultant will be responsible for providing services including schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, construction administration, and post-construction phases. • The consultant will be reimbursed for certain expenses, including printing, plans, and mail, but these expenses must be included in the basic service fee. • The consultant will be required to provide electronic files of record drawings and specifications in dwg, doc, xls, and pdf formats. • The consultant will be reimbursed at cost for long-distance telephone calls and U.S. Mail or Express postage fees related to the project.
