The Town of Florence is seeking proposals from experienced architectural and engineering firms to provide design services for a new Police Department Headquarters. The selected firm will partner with the Town’s Police Department and other Town Management to plan and design a modern, efficient facility that supports current operations and anticipated future growth. The project is anticipated to include design and construction of a police department headquarters with various features, including interior space for general office/workspace, storage, circulation, support, and other special areas, as well as exterior space for secured and unsecured parking. Key aspects of the project include: • Design and construction of a police department headquarters • Partnership with the Town’s Police Department and other Town Management • Modern, efficient facility to support current operations and anticipated future growth • Various features, including interior and exterior space • Secured and unsecured parking areas • Compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) and other regulations The project is expected to be completed through a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) selection process, and the selected firm will work in conjunction with the CMAR to design the project to approximately 30% completion.
